Just as I predicted. Probably >10,000 dead from Katrina |
|
I've been saying this for the last 3-4 days.
Just heard them make this prediction on MSNBC.
I wish my prediction wasn't accurate. :(

|
And I too wish I were not right.

2. Mayor Nagins said that approx. 100,000 were in NOLA and |
|
so far 35,000 have been evacuated, but, know one knows how many evacuated after the fact. He didn't want to commit, but based on his saying that could be low.

4. I'm fucking stunned...I still can't believe that...when you can see a stor |
|
storm of this magnitude coming f0r 2 full days, really 3...
You MUST be able to do something to get those people out...I honestly can't believe this, even when it was coming, I kept thinking that of course they would get the people out, because there is so much warning that it would be complete incompetence not to...
I was the one who ket saying to those of you who were predicting this that it wasn't realistic...I guess I gave the federal government a whole lot more credit than they deserved...and I'm ashamed that I did...I apologize to those that I disagreed with last week...
My mind is completely blown...

8. I think it will be higher than 10,000 perhaps 20,000 |
|
If 1/3 of 600,000 people stayed in town thats 200,000 people most of whom were in houses. Many houses completely flooded. Lets not forget those in Mississippi as well where the strongest winds hit leveling many small towns that may not have evacuated.

9. This is going to hit the troops in Iraq & Afghanistan really hard, |
|
especially the ones from that area. If this turns out to be true, and I suspect it will, God have mercy on Bush's soul, and then send his wretched soul straight to Hell.
