truth about the gas prices |
|
Ok ... what is your take on the high gas prices in NC and the south eastern part of the US. I know the pipe lines are low and they are pumping at 30% or something like that. You here that it will be fixed soon and then you here that it may not be for weeks.
I did some digging and it found that 100% of gas/oil in NC comes from LA. With all the damage done to that area .. it seems like we might not have any gas for a while.
Also, I am confused. On the main drag here in Concord there are 6 gas station. 3 of them have gas at 3.29, 2 of them have gas at 3.49 and the other one has gas at 2.99. That is a BIG jump in price if you cross the street.
So what is going on? How long do you think this will be like this?
**we where told to conserve gas this weekend in Charlotte/concord. I am so pissed at my sister in law who filled up her boat this weekend and went out boating ... sorry had to rant about this somewhere**
