There's a good discussion about Rush's racism on Tavis Smiley right now

In the Reporter's Roundtable segment Tonyaa Weathersbee, columnist with The Florida Times-Union, made the point that it was wrong that the other commentators on ESPN didn't challenge Rush when he made those statements. She also made the point that, when you have a captive audience for your spew, it's a lot more effective.

Terry Neal, chief political correspondent for WashingtonPost.com, listed some of the other racist things Rush does, like telling a black caller to take the phone out of his nose, and playing the theme song from the Jeffersons when he talks about black politicians.
