Everyone should write their senators/reps |
|
and tell them you no longer have any confidence that you would be rescued in case of a disaster.

Republicans are in charge. They are the ones who are responsible. We should put pressure on them to, for the good of the country, force Bush and Cheney to resign. To spare the country another impeachment, Bush and Cheney should step aside since their administration has proven over and over to be corrupt, ineffective, and incompetent in taking care of the citizens of the United States.
The Republicans in Congress are the ones who should make this happen or face the consequences of aiding and abetting a criminal government.

4. Use this info when you write: |

In December 2004, the president approved the National Response Plan (NRP), which provides the rules for emergency response. This is verbatim from the plan, pg. 33 of 114:
A basic premise of the NRP is that incidents are generally handled at the lowest jurisdictional level possible.
In an Incident of National Significance, the Secretary of Homeland Security,in coordination with other Federal departments and agencies, initiates actions to prevent, prepare for, respond to,and recover from the incident.."

Keep the heat on them - do it frequently and change the message each time. After all, we have so much to question.

are sick of hearing from me at this point. I've written so many emails to Sen. Nelson and Sen. Martinez (I know, why bother, but figured I write them all) this week that they probably have my email on block.
As soon as Rep. Wexler's site comes back up, he'll be hearing from me, too. Of course, with Wexler, I'm pretty sure that he will listen to us.
