What the heck is wrong with her. Her fashion sense about how to "dress for disaster" sure is lacking. And that bottle of water in her hand is a huge faux pas... Thousands stranded or dead and without water or food for days and she brings her own water bottle? :eyes:

Don't know where you found the "file" photo-- was it tossed out for you to make exactly the (unfortunate) connection that you have done?

I'm still in shock and outraged and in action mode to solve the overarching problem here, to take advantage of this wake up call for America.

I don't want to lecture you, but to express some sensitivity for the dead and the survivors, as well as other DUers here who don't appreciate the apparent cluelessness about racism that has been bouncing up and down the pages recently.

Ridiculing Condi's blackorwhiteness may be cathartic, but it may be inappropriate AT THIS MOMENT as well.

There is your search link. See first photo that comes up. (Unless they change it within the next minute!) The photo was likely re-released by the White House on 9/4. Everything these people do is staged. And I do have a great deal of sensitivity for the dead and the survivors, in fact this whole week has been tearing me up. And sending Rice back to her Alabama roots for a photo-op deserves criticism, please chide her for buying $1000 shoes the Wednesday after the hurricane hit while people were dying, not me.
