Groping - a soft n' fuzzy term for ASSAULT |
|
So Susan Estrich, a proclaimed feminist claims that all these assaults on women by Schwartzenegger were not illegal? Lets turn the tables for a moment.
If Martina Navratilova was the Terminatress in a straight version, who had an addictive urge to targeting certain less powerful men, and or boys, stake them out, and create opportunities where she could grab male genitals to get a reaction of shock and humiliation, all the while receiving support and commissery from other workers on the set, who either thought it was funny, or were too afraid to say anything, how do you think the media would view it then?
I know it may come across differently because many men would claim they would enjoy it, but they would NOT enjoy being targeted, hunted down and humiliated in front of their peers.
This behavior problem has nothing to do with sexual gratification, it has everything to do with feeling superior to women, (because of an underlying feeling of powerlessness with women) and subjicating an individual in front of others to show superiority.
Ahhnold has a need to humiliate others and appear superior. That would also include his fondness and romanticizing in his head the glory of the Nazis and the roar and size of the crowds.
Schwartzenegger seems to have no concept of reality. That is what is frightening. He lives in a deluded, grandiose world where he is views himself as some kind of German gladiator, (minus an apparent conscience), and those surrounding him have allowed the affliction to manifest and grow into a real problem. Because no one confronts him, he just continues to do it because of course he believes hes above reproach.

Arnie should go up to Maria's Mom, put his hand up uner her dress, whisper in her ear "Have you ever had a man stick his tounge in your asshole?" and see how Maria feels about it THEN.
Grrrrr.

From a Salon article on Arnie:
Another woman on the "Terminator 2" set recalls walking by Schwarzenegger and a group of other men during a break in filming. "I was walking on the set and Arnold called out, 'Come here, you sexy devil,' and reached out and pulled me on to his lap," she told the paper, adding that he then whispered in her ear: "Have you ever had a man slide his tongue in your (anus)?"
Oh, but there's more, much more, including a waitress at a restaurant frequented by Schwarzenegger and some of his buddies who came this close to dumping a pot of hot coffee on the actor's lap when he beckoned her over and asked her for a favor. "I thought, OK, maybe he wanted more bread. And he said, 'I want you to go in the bathroom, stick your finger in your (vagina), and bring it out to me.'"
Hey Arnie... DO YOU KISS YOUR KIDS WITH THAT MOUTH?????

8. Or his daughter or niece....when they turn 19... |
|
and see how Arnold takes that. He says he champions the care of children..protecting them from the mean and perverted streets...but, after you turn 19, the message is loud and clear.... you become 'fair game'.

The victims chose not to press charges because they feared retribution from a famous individual. So, they were doubly victimized.

9. Yep, Anita "Hills" all over again, and |
|
by the way, whatever happened to Paula Jones?
How soon the GOP gets amnesia on Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky, not to mention the fact there are now so many women coming forward to talk, and even two more women today in, of all things, an Australian newspaper.
Also, in the LA Times this morning, a former GOP operative with the Bill Simon campaign wrote an editorial expressing that Schwartzenegger is unfit for the governorship. As if that is a surprise.
It wasnt too long ago, we had a President impeached for a CONSENSUAL sexual act.
Somethings really wrong with the lens on this camera.

6. If those women don't come forward and press charges |

in cases where Arnold still can be charged, he can't be convicted of sexual assault. It's as plain as that. I really don't blame the women for not doing so. Look at what the girl who was allegedly raped by Kobe Bryant is going through. She, even though she is the alleged victim, has all but been tried and convicted herself before there was any legal action to prove or disprove her allegations.

10. Actually, it's battery, not assault |
|
Assault can be nothing more than a threat of violence, brandishing a weapon, or attempted intimidation.
It rises to the level of battery, a more serious felony, the moment a victim is touched.

13. How would any of you feel if you were groped on a street while |

going to work, coming home from work, sight-seeing, shopping? It IS NOT appropriate!
It is a powerplay and he did nothing more than what most abusers do AFTER THE FACT...I'm sorry. It won't ever happen again because I love you so much! :puke:
Then they are found dead or almost dead within the week. Those apologies are never serious only something to continue to CONTROL those weaker than themselves.
