Why does my dog run and hide every time bush* speaks?

3. Because animals can sense evil
even through the TV. My cats freak out too when *'s on, so we keep that to a minimum (like snippets from Jon Stewart).

5. I have seen my dog bark at Bush

just like he does when he sees other DPGS on TV.
I think they sense our anger at the Pit Bull,

8. I've scared my dog and cat more than once
when I've screamed at Bush. So, it could well be that with your pets, too. Or, they are highly intelligent and it's really Bush who's scaring the hell out of them. They're smarter than most repubs, at least.

9. In all reality, they probably sense your sudden stress and anger
and maybe they've connected it to hearing "that man's voice" and so now there is an automatic response.

16. Just like a cat I used
to have would run and hide in the kitchen cabinet when she heard Larry Munson's voice on UGA Dawg radio - she knew yelling and screaming and/or whooping up with cheers was going to occur for at least the next 3 hours.

They learn quick.

17. Dogs are an excellent judge of character.
When someone comes over, and your dog doesn't like them, neither should you. :D

Same goes for Chimpy.

on the TV.
