Given: Bush is clueless Cheney and Rove pull his strings
Bush's behavior in re Katrina was clearly consistent with that of the over-indulged, spoiled rich, stuck-in-adolescence boy/man that he is, so my question is why didn't Cheney and/or Rove tell this imbecile to get his behind back to Washington and pretend to be in charge while they took care of this?
Does this mean that they are out-of-touch, no longer give a damn, or is Bush actually overriding them??

1. Maybe they didn't notice |
|
Maybe they think what he did and said was fine. They are that out of touch with human beings. It's hard for vampires to see things from a human perspective.

9. They still got a few things their masters wanted. |

FEMA got a real "live-fire" test of it's concentration camps, and the public made no outcry.
And gasoline will now be at least $3 a gallon, permanently.

4. No longer gave a damn, IMO |

He's been re-selected, and since the GOP has a lock on Congress, SCOTUS, the federal bureaucracy, and a large part of the MSM, they don't have to worry about impeachment.
So they are coasting, just drawing a paycheck and helping out friends until Jan 2009.
They got caught with their collective pants down around their ankles with Katrina and are now back peddling and trying to control the damage so that they can get back to their post 2004 plans.

opportunity to turn our misfortune to their advantage. I'm very worried about what it is that they see as an opportunity in this disaster that seems to be going very badly for them.
