1. Likely mass graves.
:sarcasm: I know the Bushies wish for that, though.

2. You might have to work backwards
There are lots of Google news stories about planeloads of people arriving in other areas. The stories usually say "from the Houston Astrodome" or "from New Orleans."

11. No, only a few have come to Minnesota
300 are supposed to come on Tuesday to Camp Ripley. That was reduced from 5,000 when someone realized that probably the evacuees should have some say in where they go, and that few people from Louisiana are going to want to come to Minnesota in the fall.

12. ah I thought i read that several thousand were coming?
I've been away from the trib for a couple days... thanks though!

I saw a car today with LA plates and a W sticker on it in the parking lot here in DL... a Lexus... made me kinda screw up my face and go hmmm... he'll be very lonely with the sticker around my town.

7. And any story about what kind of facilities or housing they are going into
Story of FEMA run camps a few days ago were frightening. Controling the folks and not letting them leave or be visited.

I must say I am worried

Sure, out of sight and off the front page.

Nothing else matters to these criminals.

13. They're being dispersed around the country
We had a plane load (about 200 or so) come in in Northern Kentucky yesterday, another plane load came into Louisville on Friday. That's the way they're doing it. A couple hundred here and there. My guess is that this is happening throughout the country.

Each plane load gets housing and employment assistance. This is a relocation -- these folks aren't going back.

15. They've gone to the New Orleans Diaspora...like the Jews in WWII
Gone...sent out of their homes ...out there to start a new life so that Cokie Roberts and her Grand Dame Mom can have a better life in the French Quarter...without those pesky "Projects."

That's what I assume, anyway. 200 here 400 there from NC to Utah, from Chicago to Cape Cod...they are gone and dispersed. So that no one will be left to tell the story?

Thank God for the 10,000 or so HOLD OUTS who REFUSE TO BUDGE in Old New Orleans. They will tell us, hopefully...they refused to leave it. Against all Odds...they refused. But oh so many had to evacuate for their kids and they are gone unless they have relatives who can house them there in LA and Miss. :-( THE DIASPORA! Here in America.
