I highly doubt it would happen, but I ask because alot of Dems switched when the Republicans took control.

1. Some may switch to "I"
and cover all their bases.

2. A lot of Dems switched?
I don't remember that. Maybe a couple, but a lot?

I imagine we might see some Reps switch to Ind or Dem. It depends on how much they value their seat in Congress and how out of wack the Repugs are.

3. Not a big number
But a bigger number of party switches you see at one time. It was like 4 in year or so.

4. I'm quite sure some would indeed run to join the DLC.
There alot alike already. Witness the votes that really mattered to the people & see how they chose to vote.

6. I'd love to see the libertarians and Ron Paul caucus with the Dems
Selfishness is the heart of conservatism, and selfishness is the wellspring of libertarianism, but the difference is that the libertarians don't like social conservatives and don't have a hankering for world domination.

Sadly, though, selfishness is their prime motivation, so I don't see them acting in their own best interests.
