"The city is on a tactical alert and obviously traffic is going to be impacted," Los Angeles Police spokesman Kevin Maiberger said.

Maiberger described a tactical alert as "what happens when the city goes into a state of emergency. Police officers will only be responding to calls where there is a threat to life."

I'm as paranoid as the next based-in-current-reality guy, but this was just an accident. They DO happen.

Power was only out here for about 15-20 minutes.

12. Paranoia is a good thing. Relaxation is good, but I believe this was

just another exercise by this Administration. Can we afford the luxury to NOT think it was somehow a product of their initiation. I don't think so, even if it wasn't, they've cried wolf one too many times.

We need to start pointing the finger where it belongs - at this Administration, and even if it doesnt, the buck still stops with them now in every scenario.
