Do you think bush has reached the lowest poll numbers yet....
so they will produce bin Laden to parade around? With the military spokesman saying bin Laden is ill and seeking medical help are they setting us up for his capture?

3. Yes, but apparently OBL is a lot like Rehnquist had been
Sick, dead, recovered, sick, dead, getting better, etc. and so on. A lot like Zarqawi is captured, free, caught, mistaken for someone else, injured, fleeing, attacking, free, etc. :eyes:

Truth in government. What a concept! I wonder what it's like.

13. You Are Correct
The conventional wisdom amongst social statisticians is that both poles have a hard core base of between 16 and 22%. So, the constant political battle appears to be the 60% in the middle, although a high proportion of that "middle" leans one way or the other.

But, Silverspoon has around 20% of the adult population who would still support him if Satan put his arm around him and called him "His Best Pal."

6. Nope, not yet. I expect those numbers to drop when Fitzgerald wraps
up his investigation and hands out indictments.

7. There is still a long way to go till zero percent!
Have no doubt that everytime the polls make noticable nodges towards the destined zero percent, there will be news of OBL, Zawahiri or Zaqarwi fed via MSM to the sheeple.

9. Possibly - at least for now
I think he's going back up in the next few weeks. As much as it pains me to admit it, the "I take responsibility" bit will probably play pretty well, and the body count from NOLA is WAY lower than expected, even if they are hiding some of them.

But y'know, this is *, and while Rove is great at turning sh*t into gold, shrub-boy has a gift for the opposite, so the polls could go back down again depending how that turns out.

11. I don't think it will go much lower. It's not just his base,
it's those people who knew better, but voted for him anyway because of the smear campaign they waged against Kerry. Like Bush, they will have an extremely hard time admitting to a mistake, thus they will continue to support him. That is, as long as he doesn't get a bj - then all bets are off!

12. Plenty of Room Left Toward The Bottom
Edited on Wed Sep-14-05 09:14 AM by ThomWV
And the boy is welcome to every inch of its depths if you ask me. Actually my honest guess is that nothing will make his approval drop below 22-28% with the upper end being more likely, but its a hunch, nothing at all scientific about it.

14. He'll sink lower
the best this idjit* can get is a dead cat bounce, his braindead base is somewhere in the twenties, if somehow he and we make it through to next spring, he'll be scraping rock bottom.
If he survives as resident through next summer will be an absolute miracle.
The change is coming, if you have a nose you can tell that the wind is changing direction, and it's going to sweep these cockroaches back into their holes.
The problem is what do we do with the twenty percent of braindead koolaid drinkers?
