Do we have anything to be proud of after all
Well, we were gaining the attention of some in the Plame investigation and the Peace Mom Anti-War movement was gaining inroads. The number of U.S. casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan were mounting and getting more worrisome to many including some repukes. We had a hurricane rip our hearts out and a pResident who couldn't be bothered with showing any signs of leadership, no compassion for the victims. A national response team who are, well, NOT. A press who seemed to awaken momentarily but are now falling back into the press we had previously become accustomed to. A Whitehouse who the sheeple will allow, to spin their way out of all this and to top it all off, it seems a new Chief Justice who scares the HELL out of me. Please enlighten me to a ray of hope, a shaft of light, a glimmer of justice. A heart so heavy.

1. *'s poll numbers keep falling
and KKKarl Rove is spinning like mad, desperately trying to reverse that trend. And the press DID wake up, albeit briefly. I never expected that they would.

I share your concerns - it all looks so grim overall -- but remember that the slimeballs occupying the White House are freaking out about the polls.

2. Steady, man !
Go easy on that shit. I just, yesterday, snapped out of a deep 2 or 3 day depression. I don't think i would have come out alive if it wasn't for my wife. (thanks hunny !)

Seriously, don't let it drag you down. At the very least, the events of the last few weeks (years?) have started to show the American public what a sham the bush* MISadministration really is. And, what an incompetent, feeble boob our pResident really is.

You know the old saying about what happens if you give them enough rope ?
I thik they now have plenty of rope, and they can only get more. Let's just hope they don't drag us all to hell before they hang themselves !

3. Newton's 3rd Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite react-
ion.

Rove and Libby are going to be indicted - and, the OSP-AIPAC spy ring are going to trial. The Iraq debacle has effectively thwarted the PNAC grand design for US conquest of the entire Middle East. Nobody believes the 9/11 myth that Bush can or is willing to protect Amurka anymore. The sleeping giant MSM rolled over and crushed the aura of infallibility of the head of DHS -- we'll see if Chertoff reinflates, like a Toon. Roberts has shown that he's a reptile who wears contact lenses to hide his snake eyes.

In short, BushCo is a wounded duck. From their perspective, the ground is flying up real fast. Made me feel better to recite it, anyway.
