Foamy the squirrel's take on Katrina
pretty salty language and I don't agree with some of what he says but then again he's a cartoon squirrel.

1. This was a time when the media did a great job. Sorry Foamy.
This time, the press rocked.

Geez, when would Bush have woke up if Bartlett couldn't have put together that DVD of the media coverage to show Bush (days too late, of course) what the hell was really going on instead of just the BS Brownie and Chertoff were citing?

Because of the media, we at home had a better "situational awareness" then did the idiot in chief.

2. Foamy wasn't funny or cartoony.
Was it supposed to move, cuz it didn't on my computer. Besides that, the guy is a pretty good writer. Since there was no humor in it, just an emotional rant, he should have just submitted it in print form to Time, Newsweek or a major metro paper. As a "cartoon," it was completely devoid of humor. I thought I'd watch something that lightened things up a bit, not just spouted back the same rage I'm already feeling.

Sorry, Foamy. Thumbs down on this one.

3. Foamy Is Way Off Base. Even For A Cartoon Squirrel! What Was That Shit
Edited on Wed Sep-14-05 04:41 PM by DistressedAmerican
about the looters not helping folks. There are many, many stories of folks that would not have made it had some "looter" not stole some food and drink to share with the rest of the trapped.

The media has not been better on a story in years.

Fuck you foamy the Squirrel!

You are clearly tripping out over this as well you should. But, how about a Squirel report on the non-existent FEMA response you little rat?

And in the authors defense, the toon was made BEFORE the man made part of the calamity became apparent.

5. What's really funny.
He sounds just like Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales. Could it be the same guy blowing off steam? ;)

He's got a good point, though.

7. I don't know, but I'd say he's mad about it.
If he's mad that the journalists were able to get in but didn't help, I'm sure he's not happy that the Feds weren't letting anyone in to help but weren't helping themselves.
