Dems received 13.7 million more votes then the Repukes in the last 3 elections. And that's conservative. Because the Repukes cheat. You all know they did. And they will again. You all know they will.

Because Bush, this very unpopular War pResident, is

(T)he
(O)nly
(A)WOL
(S)ubversive
(T)raitor

running for reSelection....

1. AWESOME
not much to say to that. Clinton was an awesome president, and he cleaned Bush's clock and Dole's clock.

3. Good to know, thanks.
It's amazing we really are the majority in this country. Just think about all that don't vote though?

4. You percentages are of the two party vote, not the total vote
No Democratic candidate has gotten a majority of the popular vote since Jimmy Carter in 1976. No Republican candidate has gotten a majority of the popular vote since George H.W. Bush in 1988.

7. So what is your point? Third parties hurt dems more than the repubs..
My point is: we clean the Repub clocks, by an average plurality of over 4 million. And we will do even better next time. Its emerging...

6. Emerging democratic majority
This is why the Texas Fascist Party is hellbent on BBV, crooked redistricting, and launching fraudulant wars to ride the flag wave.

9. we should all move to Louisiana
and tip it our way.
I think your zip codes are a little messed up. It should be
AL - Alabama
AK - AlasKa
AZ - AriZona
AR - ARkansas
Is that a 3 election total? You could do the same thing in 1992, for the three elections prior to that, and you would see a huge Republican majority. Since 1980, at least, when Republicans took control of the senate and closed the gap in the house Democrats have been losing ground. Presidential elections are tough since, as is apparent even in our best years, at least eight western states are guaranteed Republican - ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MT, WY, ID, and UT. I think most of those states even voted for Alf Landon. Except for Texas, that is alot of electoral weight for very few voters. Their 7,927,571 Republican voters are about half as much as the Democrats in California with more than half as many electoral votes I am sure. The electoral college sucks for us.

10. Thanks for the corrections. My bad. These are 3 election totals.
I have not included 3rd party voters, only interested in Dem vs. Rep.
Of course, had nader not run, the Dems would have another million net votes..

I strongly believe that in a fair 2004 election, the Dems will get at least 55% because 1) many life-long Repubs are switching over, 2) changing demographics are increasing the Dem majority, 3) the Bush domestic and foreign record is the worst in history and 4) the Dems have never been so energized. There will be a massive voter turnout for Dems while many conservatives stay home.
