What ever happened to our leaders working for us? |
|
There was a time when the whole idea of electing a Senator, Representative, etc. was because they would listen to the people and attempt to please them. Now it seems that they expect us to bend to their will. If a person votes for a particular candidate, it's reasonable to expect that candidate to represent the will of the people, not to push their own agendas. Unfortunately, we seem to have gotten away from that idea. We have officials who only want what they want and thats it. I believe that it's time that we, the people, who this great country is supposed to be all about, should take our country back and elect officials who will represent us, the majority. OK OK end of rant. GO CUBS!!!!!!!!

3. Ask Asa "A Blowjob Is A Constitional Crisis" Hutchinson |
|
Or Henry "Youthful Indiscretion" Hyde. During a time when two fucking thirds of the country opposed impeachment, they pressed on with it. I wrote them both snail-mails, asking "Who do you serve?" Never got a straight answer, except for Asa's form response assuring me how he "shared my frustration."
Right.

4. One of the principal reasons why we should all support Dennis Kucinich |
|
No other politician (to my knowledge--I'd be happy to hear of one) has ever put not merely his job but his whole livelihood on the line to keep a promise to the people.
He's not a ruler, he represents. He represents!
