Want to start a betting pool for John Roberts? |
|
I am going to go 60/40 approval. Anyone else?
My plan...for each one of the five or so DINOs that rubber stamp the monster, I will automatically donate a little money to their primary opponents next time they have one.

Look, politically speaking, there is no reason to oppose Roberts. He could go without a dissent. Biden, Kennedy, Feinstein, they'll all vote for him...all this debate is just political smoke. Remember the Justice Thomas hearings? What was his confirmation number. 'Nuf said.

6. I honestly do not remember the numbers on Thomas, just seeing it on TV |
|
I was a senior in High school, and I remember them being on TV. I was in the first days of my leftward shift as I neared adulthood, and I think this creep helped the shift. He was simply a horrible person who got confirmed, despite his being dispersible

vote too. And a year or two from now we'll be hearing things like, 'I was taken in', 'I believed him when he said...', 'But he led me to believe he was really a moderate' etc. Same old story.

8. First time I heard Roberts speak |
|
I thought the same thing. Only thing I'm not sure of is if Roberts knows he's gay.

9. Well my gaydar is not going off when I see him... |
|
Of course, the guy seems to have no soul, nor any personality. So my gaydar may be a little off. I noticed on C-Span footage recently that they were filming this little squeeky clean family around him. So what I am assuming is that they want to work to make sure it is clear he is straight. So their overcorrecting in this regard may well impune his heterosexuality.

11. How stupid. Roberts isn't gay. What a pointless thing for Mahar to say. |
|
I wonder sometimes if Bill Mahar knows that the grownups are trying to talk.

15. He showed a picture of Roberts and two other men |
|
posing with a plate of food and Mahar said only Gay men pose with food, straight men never pose with food. Also he mentioned both children were adopted. I never thought about it before but I will be looking for it now....

10. That was just a number I pulled outta my a$$ |
|
I had nobody specific in mind but maybe LIEberman, who will be a-waitin to kiss his butt. There always seem to be a core of 5 DINO votes on many issues, whoever the DINOS might be on a specific vote.

12. I used to say he'd get 90+. But the Dems are fighting now. So I'll predict |
|
Perhaps 10 or 11 will vote against him, or abstain. Everyone else will make a speech about how sad it is that Roberts didn't give them full answers, what a shame it is, and about how they're "rolling the dice" with him. Then they'll vote yes.

This "Is Roberts Gay" thing will sweep the RW senators and BLP* will be hard pressed to hold them in line.
