THE RECALL FRAUD: RAZOR-THIN MEANS ...THE FIX IS IN !!!
The closer the race, the easier it is for the Repukes to fix it!
And we know they will. They will NOT let Davis or Busta win.

I have a feeling that there will be another major crime committed in California. It will be a repeat of Florida 2000. It will be a repeat of Scotus. It will be a repeat of Georgia 2002, et al.

The first Repuke move will be to bring Davis below 50%. The next will be to go after Cruz, if he is close to Arnie.

Don't believe they can pull it off? THEN YOU LIVE IN DENIAL.

It's in the working.

4. Which means the poor, who have other claims on their time, will have to
leave before getting to vote. It worked in 2000.

7. Yep. Same old Busheviks.
Why mess with success?

It's not like any of their previous frauds have been investigated or prosecuted.

10. it is not a time factor so
Edited on Mon Oct-06-03 02:10 PM by rozf
much as a money factor. The funds R not available to have all polls open. Each county had to come up w/ 2 million 2 fund this recall. Bcause only 1/3 of the polling places will B open - the CA Dems were urging people 2 get absentee ballots. Every voter I registered got my 'vote by mail' speech & every person checked the absentee box.

With fewer polling places open, the rethugs R counting on long lines, parking problems, people giving up in disgust & going home w/o voting. Of course the fix is in. Saurov needs a rethug gov in Sacramento 2 make stealing CA electors in '04 look legit. Plus kenny boy gets pardoned 4 manufacturing the 'energy crisis and all squatter's fossil fuel contributors get their long awaited pay-off - the CA coast.

My question is....What R we going 2 do about it Wednesday morning?

13. the official "explanation"
is that "special " elections are by definition samll turnout affairs and thus the state election board mandates less money spent and a reduced number of polling places. And YES Virginia, the polls cut are always in the poorer neighborhoods.

15. Who is going to make the judges pay for their malfeasence
Wasn't it one of the courts threw out a suit with held a disenfranchisement of voters because of this type of thing or was it just because of the difference in the machines? This should prove quite interesting tomorrow.

My polling place already had lines; I can only guess what will happen on Tuesday. It seems a lot of people are interested in this election, if a lot of them turn out things might get messy.

6. Yes, I have been telling everybody this will happen
People I talk to all believe bush will be voted out in 2004. I tell them that the voting machines are corrupted and owned by repukes. I tell them to watch what happens in CA - it will be another FL only this time it will be harder to see the slight of hand.

9. Not Necessarily
A close vote is obviously not proof of a fix.

12. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I wish you weren't right about this. I HOPE you're not right about this.

Everything we've read about the BBV issue leads me to conclude you are correct.

Of course, THIS time we have monitors at the polls and several hotlines for reporting irregularities.

Let's hope at the preliminary stage BBV is in in CA we have a chance.

14. A vote for Arnold is a vote for Bustamante...
Knives in Sacramento are being sharpened left and right in eager anticipation of Arnold Schwarzenegger's arrival. He has been warned, but in Arnold's impulsive and steroid addled mind he really is the "Terminator."

I almost feel sorry for this clown. If he "wins" there will be no "honeymoon." He'll be lucky if he escapes Sacramento with his clothes and his cajones.

16. I don't follow...
I don't get this part: The first Repuke move will be to bring Davis below 50%. The next will be to go after Cruz, if he is close to Arnie.

Doesn't all the voting happen at the same time? I don't see what you mean when you say one first, then the other. Wouldn't they fix both at the same time?

19. Don't forget the theft of the Alabama governor's race in 2002...
...Riley was behind in the count until several thousand new votes were "found" in a major GOP county after everyone had gone home.

And the incumbent governor, a Democrat, was hounded until he knuckled under and relinquished his claim.

And does anyone else remember all of the polls leading up to the 2002 elections indicating that the Democrats were going to do very well in several states, only to discover that by the time the votes were counted, the GOP had won all of those elections?
