Al Franken on Leno tonight
sure hope he talks about OReilly, who was on Russert over the weekend, complaining about him. didn't watch; cannot STAND even one moment of that lying liar

wonder if Leno/Letterman might have Joe Wilson on.......he did quite well on MTP, despite Russert's antagonistic grilling.

missed discussion on that........Russert went much easier on Novak, I thought, than he did w/Wilson

anybody catch that?

1. I caught the Wilson grilling
I think he went much harder because Wilson can take it. That man is unshakable. Impressive a guy as I can think of.

2. agreed..........I've seen him on TV about a dozen times........
in the last few weeks, and he was at his very best w/Russert.

you could see the ANGER in his eyes at several points.

excellent counterpoint to the equally effective, but very funny appearance, on Jon Stewart

glad I taped them both

3. Wilson is a godsend for Dems

Wilson is one of the most impressive talking head making the TV rounds today. Gobs of integrity and justified, eloquent anger. Russert never laid a glove on him, try as he might. With every question handled easily, Russert simply had to move on.
It was great watching Novak. Man, did he look uncomfortable. All the bluster is gone. He looked almost meek.
I watched a little of Russert with O'Reilly. It was kid gloves stuff, but Russert's CNBC show is always like that.
Had to turn it off after a while. O'Reilly is simply too sickening to take for more than a few minutes.

5. Did Leno have Gray Davis on after Arnold's announcement?
Just wondering if Davis got some equal time.
