the tires will rip upon landing, there will be a lot of sparks shooting from the bare rims, and everyone will be ok! I've seen similar landings where the front landing gear would not deploy at all, and the plane skidded to a grinding halt on it's fusilage.
May the Lord and Lady watch over these people, and see them safely land.

How the hell did that happen? it's like 90 degrees off.. I thought landing gear were on a fixed axle and just pivoted straight out?

about that....
I know the smaller commuter aircraft have "free-castering" nose gear and the on-ground steering is done with differential thrust and differiental braking....but this thing....
btw: what's the make and model of this plane? Looks like an Airbus 300 series to me.... :shrug:
