Rove has Bush back to really pushing the "War President" bullshit again
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 11:25 AM by NNN0LHI
I bet Chimpy said terra-ist at least a hundred times today in about a ten minute time period. I suspect they are going to have to do something really evil again if they can't get his numbers back up soon.

:scared:

Will not work. People are replacing their fear with logic.

2. Look! Over There! A terraist!
Terraists everywhere!

Word, Mr. Pretzeldent: If you push a button too many times you can wear it out. Has anyone ever told you the story of The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf?

4. I would want to be remembered as a peace president
It's really scary how this guy obsesses about being a war president. It's easy to start wars, and much more difficult to win peace.

5. After the Brits in Basra debacle.. I dunno.. Assuming people here
are hearing about it.. besides us on DU, I would think ** won't gain much ground today.

And if people find out about our soldiers trading kill photos for porn site access, holy cow!!

6. Bush seemed almost menacing.
Rummy, Cheney, Condi - they all seemed pissed. Felt like they were challenging the press to report on this "terra" - or else!

7. I think people are more concerned about natural disasters now
than terrorists.

Most Americans don't live in places that are likely terrorist targets.

They do live in places that are subject to natural disasters: flooding by rivers as well as oceans and gulfs; tornadoes; blizzards; fires; earthquakes; etc.

Katrina exposed the fact that there is no real safety net to protect us.

9. I think they really slipped up this time. Hearing this bozo, with his
assembled company, STILL trying to sell us this war on terror crap, was vividly juxtaposed with the pip of Rita barreling in. I think that picture spoke volumes.

13. It didn't work for Katrina.
They think it will work now? Just keep talking about war and no one will notice the hurricane?

16. Rove dropped the ball on "Bianca," though.
"Where's Bianca? Which one of you reporter-type-folk is named Bianca?

Bianca? Is that you? Are you Bianca?"

I'll bet Karl's getting his spanking right now.
