How have the prospective Dem nominees for '08 come out on Roberts?
I know Edwards, Biden and Kerry are opposed and Feingold is voting for him. Does anybody know where Bayh, Gen. Clark, Clinton, ect. are coming down? or have they decided yet?

1. I'll never get Feingold's approval process.
He voted for Ashcroft too, on principle. He thinks the president should be able to get whoever he wants, barring a felony in their closet.

3. He does have that stance for cabinet positions. But for a CJ?
Does he consider that "cabinet"? Jeez!

2. WHAT??? Feingold is voting FOR Roberts?
I expected as much from Kohl, but Feingold? I've called, I've written...what is his reason? The man has little experience as a judge, won't answer questions, and won't release pertinent information.

Why is this a partisan issue? They should all be up in arms over this guy who would ultimately like to eliminate their jobs (in a sense).
