One of the National Weather Service forecaster is saying some areas may get as much as 20-25" of rain if Rita stalls as expected somewhere on the Tx.-La. border. That could be over multiple days, but even so--that's some kinda rain.

than the water from Katrina. Does anyone have precipitation info. for the whole area that is potentially going to get this Dump Grande? It will all eventually have to be absorbed into saturated earth.
