2. From MSNBC
I will not quote the numbers from MSNBC as a service to my fellow Californians.

What I will tell you is... this will be too close to call

So if you have not gone out and voted, what the heck are you waiting
for?

3. and switch over to the C-SPANs
Kerry on C-SPAN2 live from Iowa now & the House is still in session, doing special orders. That means we may get some more fiery Dem special orders. But stop watching shout TV and give voters time!

4. I can't believe how the media is covering this. I know the election

is "only" in California but I don't think the national media should be discussing any election until after the polls have closed.

Larry King just asked David Gergen if A.S. were not in this race, would we be seeing the national coverage? Gergen said "No."

The media is covering it because
of the Three R's:

Recount
Redistricting
Recall

This IS national news!

6. i refuse to watch the TV!!!
too much spinning and depression...in hopes of repressing the vote. no need to help them here, right? :toast: to davis surviving this attempted coup. or bustamante surviving the ballot landmine. either way: it's a victory for CALIFORNIANS!

9. Hip Hip Hooray!
I'm not a californian. Shit--I'm not even a washingtonian. I'm a south carolinian living on the west coast, but y'all got my total support.

I even made my aunt, who lives in Redlands, go out and get the vote, and she PROMISED ME she would vote and make her kids do the same :)

I wish I coulda gone down there and voted with y'all :)

8. It's 6:21 p.m. CA time, and I just voted
The parking lot was still full! There are plenty of people who work until after 5:00 and have not yet voted.

I'm turning off the computer now while I'm still feeling positive.

Please, Californians, if you haven't yet voted, don't give up!

"California women deserve Arnold" As if ALL women in California voted for this masher. As of tonight, I'm sickened by this site! Too many on here are no better than freepers.

as well as the opinions of some here...fuck 'em! i still have hope! i don't think some people from elsewhere understand what's at stake here in all their glorius pontificating. "REAL WOMEN" detest the gropinator...and they are voting en force today! WE californians have plenty enough time to be depressed about...if the results are not favorable to HIM. a big "F YOU" to those who insist that's it's over before it really is over.

14. I am appalled at the coverage
It's so unbalanced and disrespectful of the process.

I live on the west coast just north of y'all. The sun aint set on this race yet!

Keep hope alive!

11. coining a new word...
to Florida (v): to rig or steal an election with massive vote fraud, biased media reporting, and/or endless lawsuits. In all likelyhood, the Republican Machine Florida'd California in the recall election. See: George W. Bush.

I simply refuse to believe Californians are stupid enough to vote for Arnold OR the recall in anything approaching a majority.
