Is there any Republican willing to take responsibility for wrongdoing? |
|
Brown didn't do a damn thing wrong during hurricane Katrina. :eyes:
DeLay is a victim of partisan conspiracy. :eyes:
etc..
I thought they were going to bring back accountability to Washington?
I guess that means 'accounting' as far as raking in big bucks with Halliburton etc..
GAWD I'm so sick of them LYING and twisted the truth to put the blame on anyone but themselves. Why are people still buying this shit???? :puke:

2. Responsibility is not in the nature of a republican |
|
They will take credit for the good things that happen but never take responsibility, that will get you in trouble.

7. As the great DU t-shirt says... |
|
"Vote Republican! Because personal responsibility is for other people"
Completed by the GOP elephant pooping, of course. On us.
I don't think as many people are buying it like they used to. I am betting that if the same charges came up against DeLay even 2 years ago, he would be off scot-free. NOW is the time to seize these fuckers in their soiled tracks. Barring a pardon from Bush, he is toast without the mayo. Let us hope that a pardon is not forthcoming, lest DeLay obtains a cozy lobbyist position. And even THEN, the undying cynic in me is braced for him to somehow slime his way out in a few years...
Supreme arrogance prohibits anyone from recognizing their own flaws and hypocrisies. Which is the only way I can explain the sheer audacity with which they continue to shit on the law and ethics all over the place, as does the elephant. I think their arrogance allows them to rationalize that they are above the law, hat they are our 'betters' destined to rule and regulate America.
Sometimes I understand what Mao meant by political power emanating from the barrel of a gun. Or in this case, an elephant's sphincter. Time to shovel their shit back at 'em. Or point that barrel in their direction.

They are above the law, and have entitlement issues. They are just going to be outraged and angry that they got caught.

13. Of course not. Their only commandment is, Thou shalt not to get caught. |
|
That's the wrongdoing for them, getting caught, so they won't admit to any failures or wrongdoing.
