Miller to Testify Friday
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-09-29-reporter-freed_x.htm

Miller left the federal detention center in Alexandria, Va., after reaching an agreement with Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald. She will appear before a grand jury investigation the case Friday morning.

"My source has now voluntarily and personally released me from my promise of confidentiality regarding our conversations," Miller said in a statement.

The Times, which supported her contention that her source should be protected, reported late Thursday that her source was Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

6. Only Good Can Come Out Of This: THINK ABOUT IT!!!!
If Judy lies, how does she know Fitz won't catch her in a perjury trap???? She takes a big chance if she lies, she has NO idea what Fitz already knows.

7. I hope the snowball is turning into an avalanche. Today has
been great, but can you see these guys letting this continue? Why would Fitz let her out of jail to go testify tomorrow? Why not just take her right from jail tomorrow to testify, then release her? If she's not afraid, there is a reason. If she's gonna sing, she'd be safer in jail than out of jail, even with police protection.

That's my thought behind the comment.

9. Is it logical?
She had about a week or so to serve and now she agrees to testify? Nope, it does not make a bit of sense. She was told that she would go on trial for criminal obstruction or another charge that could lead to a year or more in an actual prison. There is no reason for her to cooperate at this late date except a carrot or a stick. Think about that.

8. Olbermann reported tonight that Friday's meeting will not be to
testify, but rather to arrange for her appearance in front of the Grand Jury. Guess they haven't been sitting around waiting for her so they will need to be reassembled to hear her testimony.

I would expect that to happen sometime next week.

10. I think Judy
is in it up to her eye balls. Also that she loved being the center of attention, as seen in her body language. Probably spent her time writing her memoirs for $.
