I Notice That "Scooter" Is Now "Lewis"
Prior to Judith Miller's testimony today, I heard Libby referred to as Scooter Libby in almost every media outlet. This morning on TV, he suddenly became the more-dignified Lewis Libby.

I've been at work and away from a TV today. Has anyone noticed if the MSM drank the kool ade on the "ix-nay on the ooter-skay?"

Is Scooter now Lewis?

2. You're right. I did notice the dropping of the "Scooter"
Can't have the unwashed masses thinking you're a complete goof with a silly nickname. At least, not when you're facing charges of treason.

11. Really.
My cat is called Scooter, and he's pissed that Libby is making him look bad.

(He was not, BTW, named for Libby. His full name is Scooter Pie 'cause he's so sweet.)

12. I keep wondering what the "I" stands for.
Ignatius? Ichabod? It must be something he really hates to use "Scooter" well into middle age.

14. Oh, thanks.
That's not completely heinous. Not the best name for a 14 year old boy to have to deal with maybe, but a man in his 50s should be able to pull it off.
