and provided a very rough sketch. Maybe there is a more advanced proposal with a more developed preliminary design, but I haven't seen it anywhere. At this point, no sculpture actually exists, much less one created by some gay latino dude as right wing shitheads claim.

there is a statue that was given to the city by a eastern european sculptor.named the "wings of peace",it was his thank you to ronny for liberating eastern europe...well be that as it may,the sculpture is basically two wings on a round top cylinder---yup the "fly penis".the moral folks in town have been trying to have it thrown in the river but it now proudly stands on one of the busiest intersections in northern illinois. the "flying penis" stands proud and erect as a fitting tribute to ronald reagan.....

I don't happen to see anything wrong with the sculpture. So what? If the guy that did it was gay, fine, that's his deal. I like the concept behind the whole thing; Quite symbolic, and on a whole, very emotional, if you happen to be closer to the meaning than otherwise. I despise people that spaz over art... Last time we were in Seattle, a herd of nude bicyclists came peddling. They headed by the needle and down to the large water dome where they took a clensing shower (although it had to be a bit cold for the time of year)! We decided those guys had some hearty self-esteem going -- nakedness and cold water isn't typically a gentlemen's bragging post. ;)
