Arnold spent $22.6 million from own pocket. |
|
And more than $10 million contributions. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2003/10/08/MN264225.DTLA* also got >$100 million in free airtime by my best guess.

where he allegedly promised to arrange to have Enron pay out only two cents on the dollar from the nine-billion dollar lawsuit Bustamante filed. Maybe Enron is "reimbursing" his campaign expenses as well. http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=284&row=0http://newsreview.com/issues/sacto/2003-08-28/essay.asprocknation

If Enron pays off Ahnold's campaign debts, then this will cost them just 0.24 cents on the dollar (100 cents/dollar * 22 million / 9 billion).
