This is the worst example of cronyism that we have seen, even in the Bush administration. His personal lawyer? Come on. Why would her political donations nearly 20 years ago be relevant.

I've seen a lot of this in Missouri, where the open primary system allows "fence jumping". Its very common for Republicans to encourage their voters to vote in the Dem primary for the worst candidate.

To anyone who had any doubts about what role Imus played in the 04 primaries guess who he had as a recent guest? Bush Sr. - and he isn't going to appear on the Imus show if Imus was really anti-George/pro-Democrat in 04.
