or other "top Law Schools" (Stevens attended Northwestern, the rest attended Harvard or Yale).

I'm not dissing SMU's Law Program. I know nothing about it. I'm sure they've turned out some fine lawyers and in a strange way for those of us (including myself) that didn't attend a 'top rated' school, it's nice to see someone get that far.

Too bad it's not really based on any real merit other than being a hack to the president though.

1. Northwestern is known for graduating good actors
McLean Stevenson was an alum, as well as Jerry Orbach.

2. It's a private school I believe
it should be fine. I get sick of all these jackasses looking down their nose at anyone who attended "state school" Not all of us have 35K a year to spend at Harvard, you know.

4. That's not really a negative in my mind....I'm tired of elites running
everything. The little cabals that form in Ivy League colleges have run this country for FAR too long. Not saying I support Miers, just that I don't care that she's not Ivy League.

5. Also, she's not a millionaire
She reportedly has between $220,000 and $595,000.

The only other judge this article lists as having holdings valued at under a million, is Kennedy

Wouldn't a seriously cronified crony have more in cash rewards by now?
