Brit Hume knows more about minorities than Juan Williams
Fox News Sunday/Brit apparently has a better handle on how minorities would feel about Bill Bennett's remarks than the minorities that feel offended.

1. I'm so tired of this crap.
The point is, Brit, not that Bennett followed his heinous remark by saying that selective abortion of black babies is morally reprehensible, BUT THAT HE LEFT OPEN THE PREMISE THAT BLACKS ARE COMMITTING MORE CRIME.

THIS IS A CONCLUSION THAT CANNOT BE SUBSTANTIATED BECAUSE ARREST REPORTS ARE SKEWED. The Bush Administration made sure that we would continue to leave this biased opinion open because he tried to suppress a report that PROVED that more blacks and hispanics were being stopped by the police.

What effect does that have on the statistics? Here is a word problem that illustrates it all:

Group A is composed of 40 people.
Group B is composed of 40 people.

The police stop 30 people in Group A and find 6 of them carrying drugs.

The police stop 10 people in Group B and find 2 of them carrying drugs.

What does the media report? Instead of pointing out that both groups are equally likely to be found carrying drugs, since 6 is to 30 as 2 is to 10; but that Group A is 300% more likely to be carrying drugs than Group B.

Are Americans really that stupid to buy this prejudicial crap?

Yes, of course they are.

2. Juan Williams has now 1 of 2 choices related to this disgusting exchange
1. Announce his immediate resignation from Faux due to their racist, right-wing propagandist slant.

2. Come back next week and blow Kristol, Hume, that anonymous lady, and Chris Wallace out of the water with an unscripted rant that rips apart the pure bullshit they bitch slapped him with on this show.

As an african american, I cannot fathom how a black man could sit there like a baby and let white people tell him how he should feel about this statement by bill bennett. The statement strikes such a visceral nerve in the hearts and minds of blacks across the nation because it yet another example of proof positive that racism is alive and well in this country.

I, for one, am totally ashamed of juan. I'm probably angrier at him than at the racists that sat to his left and right. He had a chance to set them straight, and he sat there like a child and took it. This my friends, is utterly and totally shameful.

Oh, and a big F U to all of the panelist who sat there and told a black man how to feel about a blatantly racist comment. I do not even turn my tv to faux anymore.
