Here's my list. What is yours? |

I am crying for my country today because of what went on in California yesterday.
Here are some facts as I see them: (These are generalizations so don’t take them personally)
1. We have a media driven mindset. 2. We have traded substance for soundbite. 3. We are reaping the results of years of teaching our children to think inside the box including the idiot box. 4. The Democratic Party should be more selective about who they support for office. 5. Arnie didn’t win - Gray Davis lost. 6. We cannot afford to make this the focus of our energies. 7. If we whine about this, we will be open to a backlash from prospective conversions. 8. We may want to, but should avoid recalls, boycotts or any other retributions that may tempt us. 9. We must stay on message and that message has to be positive and constructive.

We should take over the Democratic Party again and vote out all the leaders we don't want.

1. Left wing needs a new game plan. 2. The republicans are GOOD, damn strategic dogs! 3. We need to launch some less corporate friendly media 4. We need to analyze all of the Democratic candidates down to the most minute to make sure the next president gets the nod. 5. There is a small chance Arnold isn't really a Lay-friendly Rove plant? (SMALL!) 6. The democratic party leadership needs to explain what has been happening since 2000, and where they play into it. 7. We got a long road ahead of us.
