I think many of you give Rove too much credit
There is no strategic victory for them in this Myers nomination. It was just a stupid pick all around. I don't think this is a Rove plot, he's not like this majestic all-powerful figure. They've screwed up, they've pissed off EVERYBODY and I'm loving every moment of it. :)

Rove has moved beyond his zone of competency.

6. I'll agree it's possible
But at this point, I won't agree it's likely. My understanding is this is the stuff Rove does best, and for all we know, it's just a smoke screen for something else. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The war keeps going on and on and the debts of people and government keep climbing. We saw the naked failure of government with Katrina and know that our standard of living has declined even while in the same job, much less with just a memory of a job. Everyone that reads the Internet without a warped mind knows the country is critically wounded from the corruption of government that now abandons its Constitutional mission to chose the privileged ticks that will suck out the last critical blood. Then everyday that wound is salted with high gas prices and ever higher food prices.

It is the cold that will now make things hot. People are really concerned about freezing to death this winter. The thing is this is a genuine concern because last year's prices saw people shiver. But this year high cost is double and it is just part of the reason life is a bitch and part of the reason people will die.

The melting pot is now going to be famous for its toxic stew. Just look for the truly sick and those that die. Even if you are not a peasant with a pitch fork and torch at the ready, you have had to have heard that sales have skyrocketed. The villagers are beyond angry.
