Freeper About to Be Bounced off School Board

About two months ago there was a discussion about a member of Free Republic and Protest Warrior who had been elected as a member of the Hyde Park School Board ( New York) and then outted. Well, I just wanted to give an update. I think Du'ers might be interested as to why he is about to be bounced.

HYDE PARK — After missing three consecutive school board meetings, new member Kevin Post is in jeopardy of losing his seat.

Hyde Park school board President Kevin Sheehan said unless Post can offer an excuse for missing the meetings, the board will take action at its next meeting to unseat him.

"Nothing will happen until we meet again," Sheehan said.

Post, who was elected to the board May 17, became the subject of controversy soon after he was sworn into office July 1.

Board members Doug Hieter and Stephen Hughes called for Post to resign in August because of comments Post had made on a conservative-libertarian Web site, Free Republic.

The two board members described some of the postings as homophobic and intolerant. The comments have since been removed from the Free Republic site.

Following the revelation, Post missed two school board meetings without an excuse. At the Aug. 26 meeting, a majority of the board members called for Post to resign based on the content of the Web site postings and the distraction the issue was creating in the district.

Post has not responded to phone calls and e-mails by the Journal for comment.

So that when they start deleting accounts and posts to protect the guilty, we will have a source that can provide the facts. I wonder how many other prominent Republicans post similar hateful views on FR and hide behind their screen names, and remain protected by their co-conspirators?
