This is the single most desperate act I've seen from a President since Richard Millhouse Nixon. Is there anybody with any intellectual capability whatsoever that can not see through this latest attempt at a distraction? I guess this is a good sign - a last desperate act as his ship starts to sink. Mr. Bush, even a Republican Congress won't authorize a war with Iran - so don't even ask. Give your little speech and then go do the honorable thing - do what's best for the country. Perhaps your Gawd will forgive your sins.

4. Did you hear what Mayor Bloomberg just said? |
|
Listening to his press conference on Randi's show. He said a news channel had this information ("credible" terror threat) two days ago, but they were told to "hold it for operational reasons." Well, now I know what the operation was: DON'T LOOK AT KARL!!! LOOK OVER THERE, OVER THERE, ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
God, the people are just a piece of work!

Every MSM station is doing 30 minutes on the bird flue. Even CNBC, a financial program, is following the talking points.

8. I wonder if most people know about the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!" |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 04:56 PM by Zen
That you are mocking in your thread title?
Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970)
Tagline: The incredible attack on Pearl Harbor as told from both the American and Japanese sides.
Plot Outline: A dramatization of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the series of American blunders that allowed it to happen.
I see the relationship to present day in the plot as well :D
Edit: oh, and guess who was President when this movie came out :D

There aren't enough Samurai head-choppers out there to hold a mass Seppuku ceremony for the whole Bush administration.

14. Prediction: Designers will come out with lines of clear plastic clothing |

and accessories, documenting for posterity the absurdity of our turn-of-the-century paranoid culture. Museum exhibits of the GW Bush Era will feature clear plastic backpacks, handbags, briefcases, and luggage--perfect for expediting passage through long lines at airports, commuter trains, and subway turnstiles.

they have babies so he missed teh entertainment today... rove he is going.... terra what was it two minutes later and half an hour before teh east coast nightly news.
We know he is cornered and desperate and were thinking, we hope there is a Kissinger in teh WH... after all, the old man has many deffects but he had enough foresight to realize nixon was not stable and might ahem, order the Pentaogon to unleah hell...
We were going who might be the equivalent... and after racking brains we concluded the best candidate is actually Rice....
But we will not be too surprsised by this fuckers doing something ahem dramatic.
