Anyone think that they are going to try and tie the Marine spy and Plame ?

That was the first thing I thought of, seems like it could easily be be spun into a scapegoat to protect the cartel in the White House. I thought it was a little coincidental that the spy happened to turn up in Cheney's office, where Libby works out of. Any thoughts? Do I need to go buy some tinfoil or am I just paranoid?

to me too but I have not had enough time to learn the details, still the thought did occur about 20 seconds after I first heard the news.

4. Huh? Are the two issues even related? They said the info available

to the "spy" was not significant, mostly benign info and that he shared what he learned with the Philipinos. So what does that have to do with Plame?

but you never know how they might try to twist things up together. It was just a thought, these people make me think the strangest things and sometimes the thoughts are right on the money. Just a quick speculation is all.
