Who thinks rove is gonna flip?
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 02:23 PM by 3days
I have a feeling that he is going to flip like a pancake when he is caught red-handed. He put the idiot into office and he can take him out. Just like his ego and cowardice to flip and turn on everybody else.
Not that I wouldn't like this.

Holy Crap, I just wrote this and there he is going back into the courtroom. That's it I'm going to work at one of those psychic hotlines. Or play the lottery....yeah that's it.

1. He might as well "take the bullet" for chimpy because otherwise,
he might take a real bullet.

3. Nah.
He might even take the bullet if he can't pin it on Libby.

Bush will pardon him in '08 anyhow.

8. I Wouldn't Put It Past Rove To...
...play decoy here. If he's a target or Libby is...why would they want the indictments to come down now when they can put it off longer and longer. Remember, these goons live by the 24 hour spin cycle...they want to have the "upper hand" and try to influence both the outcome and public opinion.

This sets up whatever "Plame" strategy Rove, Chenney and others have probably long devised in the event Fitzgerald got too aggressive in his investigation. I'm sure there's been plenty of coordination within the Executive and their proxies to have a strong, unified...mafia-type...defense which can hinder the handing down of indictments and then drag the pre-trial and trial for a long period of time. Get ready for the infamous term "executive privilidge". Get used to it, since it's about time that comes into play in this situation.

10. Don't think so
Bush chooses and promotes people based on whether they're blindly loyal to His Royal High-ness, not crazy real-world criteria like experience and basic competence. (See Rumsfeld, Rice, Gonzales, etc.) Rove helped Bush get this far and I don't think he'll sell him out now--if it can be said that there's one thing those soulless fucks are, it's loyal to the Chimperor.

12. flip
Still, look at how Rove operates (soiling McCain, Richards in previous elections); he tends to arrange for others to viciously attack people, while he stays in the background. He's essentially a coward, and will flip for his own mother to save his hide.

15. Doe Rove have Code-word clearance?
Libby would not.

If He does not have code-word. all signs point to Cheney being the real target.

16. Rove's in there for Rove to get info, not Fitz
Rove just wants one more chance to get any possible info so that Bushco has a head start on the spin.
