The conservative current/former US military personnel to whom I have spoken refuse to believe that the depleted uranium rounds used by the US military are at all dangerous/carcinogenic, despite the overwhelming number of internationally-recognised medical studies that prove this point.
So if a US soldier gets sick after service in the Gulf War I/II, then that's just bad luck, I suppose. Science? Who needs that!

It's a volunteer Army so quit whining. That ticks me off, but it is their attitude.

9. I knew something was wrong with those vaccines |
|
I think these untested vaccines might be among one of the root causes of Gulf War Syndrome in both wars.

11. They would tell the soldier |
|
what an anti-American, whining coward he is.
I have nothing but contempt, by the way, for anyone who is between 18 and 30 who supports Bush's wars and condemns anyone who opposes it, but isn't over in Afganistan or Iraq.
I know its off topic, but I just wanted to mention that.

14. I've got it!!! In the style of a typical FReeper: |
|
"The soldiers are no doubt displaying physical illnesses that seem to be due to their time in Iraq. This is the body's reaction to the horrors of seeing firsthand just how dangerous and deadly Saddam was to the people of Iraq.
