2. And who's responsible for Plamegate? |
|
It's like saying, Bush is distracted by the Iraq disaster.
The Bush admin. is a house built on sand. Bad policies, lies, backstabbing and duplicity catch up after five years, and without some opposition candidate to swiftboat as a worse alternative or Clinton to blame...

6. and with that sand eroding fast, who do you call in? FEMA? hahahahaha |

It was bound to catch up with them, as you point out, it it was abound to be compounded by their own greed and hubris. Remember Newt's self-destruction. Libby, Cheney, Feith, Abramoff, DeLay, Rove,
these guys started believing their own self-promoting PR. It never had any connection with reality, though.

3. That's been my theory, actually |
|
After Katrina, Rove was laid up in the hospital. It took them days before they got the spin out ("blame game", local officials fault, evacuees are scum, etc)... and by then, the damage had been done. In all honesty, it was unspinnable... but that hasn't stopped them from duping the American people before. Now, Rove is so distracted with saving his own ass that the propaganda machine is faltering.

was when Kristol told Katie that so far Bush's appointees have been approved because they had great resumes. Huh? Has he heard of Michael Brown and John Bolton? He said that, quite frankly, they don't accept appointees because they 'trust George Bush's judgement'.
I think its the first thing that Bill Kristol has ever said that I agreed with.

8. Nobody worried about distracting Clinton |
|
They had their microscopes doing anal probes on him for the entire eight years he was in office and expected him to do his job despite it.
They love that excuse now. No scandal investigation, no matter how glaring the offense, is important enough to overcome the distraction factor it poses. Even though most of these asshats can't walk and chew gum at the same time, they should learn to reap what they've sown.
