Why isn't the Rove story breaking news on all channels? Remember
Clinton hugging Monica on the rope line? How many times did we see that?

1. Because people are "too busy"
hauling their kids to soccer games, being displaced persons who have to move for the umpteenth time because their homes flooded, or thinking about the bird flu or working the two jobs that the cost of gas requires?

11. Busy working people are not the ones
who decide what gets on the news, unfortunately. The corporate interests that DO decide were more than happy to air wall to wall coverage of trivial "scandals" involving Clinton, and people were just as busy then.

2. The last thing the Corporate elites want is a constitutional crisis.
And if Traitorgate blows, the Executive Branch will be shredded.
Nobody wants a civil war. I certainly don't.

3. I think they're waiting for actual indictments to come down.
When that happens, it'll be non-stop coverage. (Until the next terror alert of course.)

5. It's a slow motion car wreck. No sex. Rove is not sexy.
Even so, Rove and the treasonous outing of the CIA agent (Plame-gate) are getting 834 hits on Google News:

6. because there's no real story yet...
the fact that he's going to speak again to the Grand Jury HAS gotten a lot of play. But non-stop 24-hour coverage on all news outlets? Sorry, the story's not THAT big... yet.

7. Oh yes it is. It's huge and will bring down this whole cabal.
Remember when Hillary found her legal records? Rove and Miller suddenly "remember" key events and that's not huge? Of course it is.

8. Please read my post again
the fact that he's going to speak to a grand jury again is NOT, in and of itself, a big story.

It's gotten PLENTY of attention for such a development.

If he's indicted, that'll be a big story. If he's convicted, even bigger. But going to speak to a grand jury is not front-page second-coming type news.

17. It hasn't broke yet.
When the indictments come down, it will be huge. Whenever the MSM talks about the Rove story, it seems they are waiting for the other proverbial shoe to drop.

The strange thing about this story is the media KNOWS what happened, they were part of the story. So it is very odd to listen to them speculate with each other, talking in code, if you will.

I would love to hear their water cooler talk on this subject.

LOL
