Democrats Must Hammer "Reckless Republican Spenders" Every Chance They Get

It seems so obvious and elemental, it's staring us in the face.

We have a once in a generation chance to reclaim the mantle of fiscal responsibility.

Of the past four Presidents, in the last 25 years, three have been Republicans and one has been a Democrat. The only one who balanced the budget was the Democrat.

Republicans are in control of every branch of federal government. Congress appropriates and Bush signs the appropriations.

This current administration, according to the Cato institute, certainly not a liberal think tank, beats out LBJ's as the biggest spending crowd in the history of Washington.

We need to start now and ruthlessly and repeatedly mock them over and over as completely fiscally undisciplined.

Foolish deficit spenders.

You can't trust the conservatives with your pocketbook.

We have to repeat the phrase over and over so often that it enters the national consciousness and becomes a paradigm.

Something that people naturally associate with conservatives.

You see, they're bankrupting our nation.

Reckless. Republican. Spenders.
