Do The "Good\Real" Republicans Realize That... |
|
if they keep propping up this current crop of Keystone Fascists, they may lose power for the next generation or two???
I mean, that's all perfectly fine by me, but if I were a Pub, I'd be getting out ahead of this thing ASAP. And not because I had Presidential ambitions, or wanted a sweet committee chairmanship.
I'd be doing it to salvage my party, repair my reputation, and help save the goddamn country.
Because Pubs (if you're here lurking), the piper is playin his tune, and it's gettin time to pay up.

Just sayin...

1. As witnessed in the House this week concerning the |
|
energy bill that allows for more profits for the oil companies, they obviously don't care about people, the environment, their legacies, etc. It's all about profits.

11. Well... That's Where It All Starts !!! |

But they gotta tread carefully, cause I'm sure the Texas\Repub bigwigs will squash 'em like bugs if they get wind of it.
OTOH - and speaking of bugs... maybe the DeLay scandal will hamper any such enforcement from on high. I mean... most of the national rePubs are busy covering ass, and licking wounds.
Maybe now's the perfect time to strike out for change.
Hell... what do I know, we have a has-been actor, Austrian Steroid fiend for our Governor.

12. They may vote for Dems, but it will be a while before they're |

so disgusted that they'll switch parties. I've got one working with us to help defeat the anti-gay marriage constitional amendment in November. Even the less socially liberal repubs are pissed about gerrymandering, corruption, disaster management, gas prices and more. But we need a democratic leadership that stands for something and rejects corporate sponsorship.

5. They're hanging out with the "good" Christians... |
|
Neither group can seem to do anything for themselves... or assert any control over the creepy fascist freaks who have hijacked America...
Course they just have to lean over and ask the helpless Democrats to pass the mustard around the campfire...
Most of our country is normal, but no one has a clue how to take it back from these fascist fundie Talibornagains...

for them to try to save their party or to at least come to the aid of the citizens of this country. Yes, I know there are a few out there who are not happy and have tried little bits here and there but I am done with this. They are destroying us and while they are down we need to gut them once and for all. All of this coming from someone who tries to be a pacifist but the time is now, go for the jugular.
I am having a great time watching my Republican acquaintances squirm. After all the Clinton stuff I find it really fun to poke them a bit. Not enough to really hurt but enough to make them think for once in their Rush filled lives.

8. As A Pacifist... I'm All For Gutting Them Too !!! |
|
But as someone who has followed politics for most of my fifty years, I keep waiting for some "honest" rePug to break out and stop the hemorrhaging. But they just lay there, still, watching themselves bleed out.
Weird.

has their numbers. I think that he has every tiny little thing they have ever done that could make them look bad and I think he must have the Dems too. Short of that they might have threatened their families. It took them a while with Nixon too but you would think that by now we would see some kind of shift.

7. It's rather odd, but we have had a similar situation up here |
|
Let me explain. About 4 years ago (I could be wrong, and I usually am... could be later), our Progressive Conservative Party joined forces with the Reform Party (which used to be the Alliance Party). Amongst a great deal of back room dealing and backstabbing, the two parties merged. Guess what their name was? Canadian Reform Alliance Party... which, of course, means an acronym of CRAP. It took several days before this brain trust realised this. Needless to say, I will not be voting for CRAP.

13. After Nixon, it was only 4 years of a Democratic Admin before Reagan. |
|
Despite the outright CRIMES of Iran/Contra, we had eight years of Reagan and four of BushtardSr. No small part of this is because even many Democrats don't want the Republican Party to fail - for a variety of reasons, obviously.

I am starting to think that they have been poisened for this generation or maybe two.
I say, build our base, get the undecideds, get young people who donb't vote to vote, get the other 1/2 of America who doesn't vote to get out and vote.
Screw the radicalrightwing and their poisened mentality, they will need to be rehabilitated politically maybe the old soviet gulag idea wasn't so bad after all.:sarcasm:

***if they keep propping up this current crop of Keystone Fascists, they may lose power for the next generation or two???***
They have worked for 70 years to take over this country. They have no intention of handing power over to the Democrats (or anybody else).
They have already stolen the last two elections. Why do you think that next time will be different? They own the media, and they have the will to do whatever is necessary to retain power.
