Ms. Wilson and Fitz: Did she get authorization from the CIA to help him?
If you consider the possibility that Ms. Wilson was not only outed for her husband's activity, but for her own involvement in WMD matters, then what could she have told Fitz?

She could have gotten authorization to tell Fitz clasified information from the CIA in order to aid the investigation into why she was outed. Possibly info on her finding info about a certain admin member and WMD's...

If this is true, it would explain the amazing evidence that the judges saw that are still hidden because they are classified. This could explain why Miller is a "sideshow" to the main thrust of the investigation.

hmmm...

1. I read early on that this judge
was ready to toss the case against miller and cooper but Fitz produced
an 8 page top secret report that when shown to the judge the judge no longer wanted to toss the case but wanted answers from miller and cooper.

2. Thank you, the Judy Miller "side show"
Said the same myself. I think this guy is playing chess with poison tipped pieces. I think Judy plays a role but he probably knows she's dirty from her blowing his bust of the f'ing terrorist charity he wanted to bust a few years ago (Judy called ahead on a tip asking them what they thought of getting raided...what a pig she is...but the NYT continued her employment after that).

If you're right on this, let the rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air. It will be the Fall of the House of Usher!

Give 'em Hell Fitz!

3. I sure hope that was the case!
Good point about those "voluminous classified filings" including Plame's own testimony. If that's the case, Fitzgerald's investigation hits at the core of the lead-up to war. That would be very gratifying.

4. here's how it probably went down ...
Rove is not connected to the intelligence community. He's a guy whose connections are ALL domestic, all USA bound. He would not be the person who got on the scent of Wilson and Plame. That had to be Libby.

Libby is the one connected to the VP, the VP's guy in charge of getting the VP's agenda done. Libby or Cheney would have sniffed it out first, along with Hadley over at National Security advisor Rice's office. This would explain the cryptic "cover" email Rove sent Hadley after meeting with Cooper. That made it obvious that Rove and Hadley both had knowledge of the Wilson-Plame connection and were trying to get it out there in June.

5. CIA brought the case to the DOJ and would also provide any damage
assessments/negative consequences resulting from the leak. That no doubt would be done at a level higher than Ms. Wilson.

Ironically, she likely would have the least to tell Fitz since she was not involved in the leak. And relevant info regarding CIA operations, information most likely would be provided to Fitzgerald by someone higher in the chain of command rather than Plame herself. That's the way bureacracies usually handle such things.
