I have learned to expect the worst and never be disappointed
Edited on Mon Oct-17-05 10:25 AM by madokie
Not to count my chickens before they hatch so to speak. Saying that, I look for no serious charges to come from the Plame investigation. A lot of lying, explaining how first this happened, then this happened and on and on, so no clear criminal intent, so no indictments. There is something to see here, but we don't want you to look, so move on.

Edited: for clarification

1. setting your sights low in order not to be disappointed is one thing..
but your last line sounds too much like a right wing talking point going around.

More accurately would be: Something to see here, but we don't want you to look, move along.

2. True...this already has that "watered down" feel about it....
It will undoubtedly be made to look so confusing and protracted that the average American will respond to it with a "politics as usual" approach.
My prediction..indictments to lower level aides, a long court battle(6-8 years) and no effect on the 2006 or 2008 elections.

Sorry, but I have always trusted my instinct on these things....
