Is Bush the reincarnation of Hitler?

I am a reincarnationist. I believe that most, if not all of us have lived past lives. I further believe that many of the situations and circumstances of our previous lives are duplicated in our present lives. Given these beliefs, I ask myself, "Is George W. Bush the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler?"

Adolf Hitler died on April 30, 1945. Bush was born on July 6, 1946. Thus, their lives did not intersect, making it possible for Bush to be Hitler reborn. Both men failed at virtually everything that they attempted prior to their respective political careers. Both Hitler and Bush deserted military service; Hitler fled to Munich to avoid duty with the Austrian Army in 1913.

Neither Hitler nor Bush was legitimately elected. Bush was appointed by the Supreme Court, Hitler was appointed chancellor by von Hindenberg. Hitler used the Reichstag fire of 1933 and subsequent Reichstag Fire decree to suspend certain Weimer civil rights, Bush used 9/11 and the subsequent patriot Act to suspend certain American Constitutional rights.

Hitler blamed Germany's woes on liberals and Jews, Bush points the finger at liberals and Muslims. Both men were virulently homophobic, both had substance abuse problems, Bush has his booze, and Hitler was addicted to methamphetamine. Both men believe(d) that God was speaking to them, and that they were doing God's will.

Both launched aggressive wars under the pretext of defense, and both perpetuated the belief in the inherent superiority of all things German/American. Both Hitler and Bush acclimated the people to perpetual war, and by all accounts, neither Hitler nor Bush ever admitted to having made a mistake, publicly or privately.

So what do you think? Is Bush Hitler v2.0? Or have I been spending too much time on DU and watching the History channel?
