Are people wising up to the Bush admin's fear tactics?

The last two "very credible" terror alerts, the NYC subways and the Baltimore tunnels, seem to have done no more than irritate people. It has not instilled the fear that the Bushies had hoped it would. In fact, more people, including the press, are questioning whether the timing of these alerts are associated with the investigations of various GOP leaders and the low poll results of the administration.

I think people are wising up to the fear tactics but it brings up a scary possibility. Would the Bushies go so far as actually carry out a "terrorist attack" on American soil just to try to "scare" up support? I'm sure Cheney is insane enough to try to carry it out but I would hope that there are a few sane people in the White House that would keep this from happening.

Of course there will always be fools willing to believe anything but I think every new "terror alert" makes just a few more people a tad more jaded.

That is what scares me. I think there are desperate mad men in our government willing to retain power and money through any means they see necessary.

Ain't it interesting how _after_ an attack the chatter "wasn't specific enough" as to time and place for BushCo to prevent anything, but now that the news is wall-to-wall fugly for BushCo we get threats against specific tunnels and subways systems on exact days?

9. I honestly do not think Cheney or Rumsfield have to go through

anyone to accomplish an attack if need be. They are members of PNAC and they believe in the military control of the World by the U.S. They do what they want without even worrying Bush. They know it's above his head.

I think Rumsfield is starting to get Alzheimer's like Reagan. He shows symptoms of it (have you ever listened to his answers sometimes). I hate that for anyone because my mother is going through the same thing. As long as you don't disagree with my mother, she is fine in her own little world of reality that her mind controls now. She still recognizes us, but a time will come she won't.

I'm sick of the terrorist attacks and the levels of warnings always high. Hell, they tell us it's inevitable, they just do not know where, when, or how. Since it's inevitable, we should be at the highest level at all times. However, if it stayed at the highest warnings, how could this administration manipulate them all the time, It's like this bird flu pandemic BS. They were saying the same thing last year (or was it the year b4)?

They are cranking up the level in anticipation of the indictments.

We're moving into dangerous waters, now. There is no limit to what the lying Bushco will do if they indictments come down. It's scary to know that Bushco could do almost anything in response. Don't be surprised if there is some bogus disaster involving suggestions of terror.

Buckle your seatbelts. It's going to get bumpy.
