Plamegate has become another missing blond white girl. I speculate often by putting real $$$ where my "informed hunches" are. At this point, I would not put $$$ on this being anymore than minor charges against faceless staffers, at best.

For once, I really hope I am wrong.. hey its happened before. *grin.

2. I've been saying that for as long as I can remember...
I've had my hopes risen and dashed on the rocks waaaaay too many times. DUers tend to give me high hopes for justice which makes the fall that much harder.

5. I maintain eternal optimism/blind rage
I never bother to get too pessimistic. If worst comes to worst I guess I'll go out for a lot of canned food and try to wait out the apocalypse. :silly:

4. I pray you're wrong
but I have no reason think you are not right. I've been bitterly disappointed as well.

6. Would be lucky if media fixated on Plamegate like a missing white girl.

( added text: )

Be prepared for any outcome from no indictments to maximum indictments with Arbusto Shrub Bush unindicted co-conspirator, or possibly anything in between.

Remember to temper any celebration over indictments with the knowledge that harm to US security has been done and that the Plame outing / CIA company bustup was a craven political ploy to coverup the phoney WMD lie that is killing Americans and Iraqis to satisfy Shrub's oedipal complex.

On the other hand, I refuse to let any disappointment over lack of indictments depress me.

In balance, I am optimistic and hopeful I will be able to celebrate some indictments, at least a little. :)

7. We don't know. But the polls tell us that the truth is getting out -
irregardless of what happens.

8. Or what if the public doesn't care about indictments?
No matter how many or who. And the press just yawns.

9. I know. I sure hope you're wrong
but these weasels seem to find an escape every time. And I can already hear them: Fitzgerald did a thorough investigation and found nothing!

I very much want your instincts to be off this time.
