Tell me more about the Larry Franklin-Plame connection

This keeps coming up on the web - the Larry Franklin-Plame connection, Israel, Judith Miller. Can anyone throw some light on this?

2. Larry Franklin worked in the Pentagon

I believe. He was arrested last year for passing 'sensitive information' to two 'handlers, who allegedly passed it on to Israel. After his arrest he co-operated with the FBI and wore a wire when he met his two handlers, Weissman and I forget the name of the other guy. They too were arrested.

About the time that Judith Miller decided she had permission to reveal her source, Larry Franklin pleaded guilty to the charges against him. His two handlers will go on trial in January.

He is connected to the Plame affair because he was in Italy with Michael Ledeen when the forged Niger Documents were 'discovered'. He was also close to Douglas Feith and apparently, Chalabi who was close to Judith Miller and Richard Perle.

Also in Italy at the 'meeting' during which the 'documents' were discovered, was an Iran Contra arms dealer, whose name I can't remember at the moment. This arms dealer has been a friend of Ledeen's since his Iran/Contra days.

Fitzgerald, it was recently learned, has asked the prosecutor in the Spies in the Pentagon case to share information with him about the Forged Niger documents, leading people to believe that he has expanded his investigation to include the lies told to start the war.

Some theorize that the outing of Valerie Plame and her network was not about Wilson's trip to Africa as much as it may have been about her network having stumbled on WMD headed for Iraq to be planted by this administration.

The fact that a known arms dealer was present with Larry Johnson and Ledeen in Italy at the time of the discovery of the forged documents used by the Bush administration to make their case for war, makes that theory a little more interesting, imo.

The media has given zero coverage to this important story, Larry Franklin and the spies he fed info to. But I imagine it is all tied in to the Valerie Plame affair and Fitzpatrick probably knows way more than we do about how much. Judith Miller seems to be a thread through all of these connections, for some reason.

Edited to add: It went unremarked by the MSM that it was right after the news of Larry Franklin's guilty plea, that Judith Miller decided to use her 'get out of jail' card. Coincidence, maybe, but we do know that Larry Franklin is 'cooperating' with the feds and may now be cooperating with Fitzgerald.

Valerie Plame was also investigating the money laundering trail from major American companies - via the Saudis - to the terrorists.

The Israelis were also investigating the money laundering back upstream -- starting with records they "rescued" from Gaza and from Arafat's headquarters -- back to "laundering banks" to "respectable sources."
