Flying Spaghetti Monster News: Creative Science Quarterly offers $100
worth of Ramen to the person who comes up with the best evidence of Our Noodly Master's certain existence (may you be touched by his Noodly Appendage). So let's don our eye patches, parrots and peg-legs and put on our thinking pirate hats. The evidence of his presence is in all things. Ramen!

http://bioteach.ubc.ca/quarterly/

Bobby Henderson, the author of the "OPEN LETTER TO THE KANSAS SCHOOL BOARD." is about to embark on the creation of an Enlightenment Institute, and as such realizes that it is, indeed, the voices of the followers of FSM that need to be heard. Here, he is interested in collecting evidence and arguments (specious or perhaps with a hint of fact) that support the existence of the FSM. In that vein, the SCQ is pleased to present this call for submissions, whereby 5 of Bobby's favourites will be presented on the pages of the SCQ in late January 2006. Furthermore, the most compelling piece will be awarded $100 worth of Ramen noodles (which by our estimates, equates to approximately 1000 packets). Please send all submissions to tscq@interchange.ubc.ca by December 25th, 2005 (subject line: Ramen) and may his noodly appendage grace your presence and touch you.

2. why were rivers created long and wriggly?
Edited on Sun Oct-23-05 04:50 PM by ret5hd
why are boulders in those rivers in a mishapenned rounded form?

they were created in FSM's image, i tell ya...spaghetti with meatballs. it's the only logical answer.

on edit: in fact, the planets themselves were formed in the shape of giant meatballs.

Archeologists excavating an ancient Chinese settlement discovered a small pile of well-preserved noodles after turning over an upside-down clay bowl.

8. Cthulhu is definitely the anti-pasta.
He / she / it looks too much like our own Noodly Master to be anything but:

7. I posted this in the Science forum awhile ago, and find it
intriguing at the very least.

4,000-Year-Old Noodle Dish Found in China

BEIJING (Oct. 13) - And you thought your leftovers were old. A 4,000-year-old bowl of noodles has been discovered at an archaeological site in western China - possible proof for the argument that China invented pasta before Italy.

"These are definitely the earliest noodles ever found," said Lu Houyuan, a researcher with the Institute of Geology in Beijing who studied the ingredients of the pristinely preserved pasta.

12. Take a tip from Descartes...
We can all agree that: The FSM is a PERFECT flying monster.

Clearly a flying monster that EXISTS is more perfect than one which does not.

Therefore the FSM must exist.
